Contact us: iobc@ipb.pt

The main aim of this meeting is to set up a forum that will enable the exchange of information and strengthen the collaboration between people from academia, industry and farming with common interests in biological and integrated control of pests, diseases and weeds in olive crop. World-renowned experts, growers, major associations, technology companies and policymakers, will present and discuss about the latest research, concerns, practical challenges encountered and strategies adopted for effectively managing these constrains in olive crop.

The meeting will include scientific sessions (oral and poster sessions, plenary discussions), a one-day visit to olive groves and mills, a short workshop featuring expert addressing hot topics in the Integrated Protection of olive crops, exhibits from leading IPM suppliers, and several social events (welcome reception, coffee breaks, lunch breaks and gala dinner) for a more informal dialogue and exchange of ideas between the participants. A range of interactive events and prizes will be also available to appeal to students and early-career scientists’ in this field.
